Carrie and I are still together, still enjoying marriage, still renovating our home. We promise that we will write this weekend. In fact, I am only adding this to force us to write this weekend. We hope to post the following:
1) My wedding wrap-up
2) The Florida reception, hosted by Carrie's family
3) The life-size cardboard cutout of the two of us.
4) The sad, sad honeymoon saga. (As you can tell from the intro, happy ending. Sorry to kill the suspense.)
Coming soon. We promise.

I was wondering if you guys were going to update us anytime soon.

Love your site. It really puts things in perspective for a non-bridezilla-chick planning her wedding.
Good times.

I absolutely love your blog. I'm trying to figure out how to get an Israeli caterer to cook for 40 in August in Vermont--from my home in Chicago. My daughter told one friend that food was the most important detail of the wedding, to which the friend replied, "Why?" Oy vey. (Can you tell I'm the bride's mom?)
A rec: Loved your photographer. Anyone need one in Chicago? Try reallifeweddings.com. The best!

hey there,
i am a writer for the ny times, doing a story about wedding books--specifically, that fact that there are so many out there on seemingly redundant issues. i wanted to get a quote from a bride and/or groom who either spent money on these books or thinks it's a load of bunk, and i thought you might be able to help...Am on a deadline!
My email is AEllin123@aol.com
Thanks~

Hi,
I stumbled across this site, while searching records of my grandmother "Thelma Baxter". She was a rhythm and Blues singer, and recorded the tune Henry you used in your wedding. She has since passed, but I thought it so cool that someone used her music. We really did not know much of her music career until after she died. I hope you do not mind but I copied the sample of the song you had listed on this page. I was wondering if you would have other copies of her music, that you would be willing to copy or sell.
I sincerely apologize for contacting you on your page this way, but this was the only contact I could find
Thank You,
Miles Carver
